New software test lab ACULIS, Inc., an industry leader in custom software development and IT consultation, has partnered with Utah Valley State College (UVSC) to construct a new state-of-the-art software development and testing facility, to be called the "ACULIS Software Test Lab." Goals of the new the joint venture lab facility are to provide what UVSC officials are calling "Engaged Learning Programs," incorporating actual business environments and development scenarios with the students' career tracks, providing an educational experience that initiates hands-on experience toward real-world employment opportunities.  "The test lab will simulate real-world business situations that challenge students' career tracks and give learners the breadth of knowledge and the familiarity they'll need to stake out that competitive edge," says ACULIS CEO James Stone.  Construction began in January 2007, with an official opening scheduled for February 2008.
